ABOUT ME
Hi! I’m Jill Lendahl, author of The Vineyard at Midnight, Under the Hanalei Moon, Dreaming of Annabelle, and Edith Pembroke's Ever After. Born and raised in California, I studied communication and journalism, and I’ve spent my career in marketing—designing brochures, running social media campaigns, and crafting brand stories that let me flex my creative side.
When I’m not writing, I love spending time with my family and watching my adult kids carve their own paths. You’ll often find me walking while listening to a podcast or an Audible book, soaking up the ocean, reading, playing or watching golf, and taking pictures of the beauty around me (landscapes and people!). I’ve been lucky enough to travel to Holland, Belgium, and France, as well as Costa Rica, El Salvador, and Mexico, all of which feed my imagination for the stories I write.
My novels are a mix of mystery, romance, and evocative settings, designed to pull readers into stories that linger, spark reflection, and keep you turning pages long into the night.

My favorite scents are Coppertone sunscreen, plumeria, eucalyptus, cilantro, and basil.

Before it was a thing, when I was around ten, I designed a stay-cool pillow so I wouldn’t have to keep flipping my pillow over at night when it got too hot.

I once hung out with Gwyneth Paltrow in the small UCSB college town of Goleta in the early nineties, where she told me a joke about a man named Harold Dingaling.

My superpower is outsmarting my opponents at liars’ dice.

I’m an avid rock and shell collector, making every outing an adventure in search of unique treasures!
