Hi! I’m Jill Lendahl—writer, dream-chaser, and the proud author of three novels (yes, three!) that didn’t exist this time last year. If you’ve ever had a dream tucked away in your heart, I hope this post inspires you to take that first bold step.
It Started With a Dream…
For as long as I can remember, I wanted to be a writer. But like so many of us, I let fear, life, and practicality get in the way. Then, one day—not unlike the beginning of a good novel—I just decided enough is enough. I had stories in me that needed to be told. So I wrote. I rewrote. I self-taught. I published. My debut novel! A cozy, heart-tugging story set on a lush vineyard where secrets—and second chances—flourish under moonlight.
2. Under the Hanalei Moon
Escape to Hawaii in this emotional story of love, legacy, and rediscovery under the tropical stars.
3. Dreaming of Annabelle
A story about memories, longing, and the magic of what might’ve been. I can’t wait to share this one with you.
Why I’m Sharing This
Because self-publishing is hard. Because it can feel like a labor of love. And because if even one person out there is waiting for permission to chase their dream—let this be it. You don’t need a big publisher or an agent to start. You just need courage, heart, and one word after another. I built this writing life from scratch, with no blueprint—just passion, persistence, and a whole lot of coffee.
